The African Development Bank report placing Morocco at the top of Africa's Industrialization Index is excellent news — but behind the figures lies a less visible reality: high-performing industry rests on high-performing infrastructure.

Competitiveness Beyond Factories

At the International Maritime Days (IMD) panel on logistics infrastructure in Casablanca, we recalled that industrial competitiveness is built in ports, logistics corridors, multimodal platforms, energy networks, integrated industrial zones and efficient supply chains.

Twenty Years of Vision

Morocco's success reflects a long-term vision that enabled automotive, aeronautics, agri-industry, renewables and, tomorrow, health, biotech and circular economy ecosystems. The challenge now is to connect infrastructure more deeply to global value chains and make Morocco an indispensable industrial, logistics and commercial hub between Europe, Africa and the Atlantic.
